Our Queens have their own room for birthing and raising the wee ones.This is the play room for the adult and older kittens. In this room they have sunshine ,fresh air, toys, cat trees to climb for exercise and places for cat naps.This is where potential customers come and sit and play with the kittens and talk about their care.All baby kittens are kept inside my home with their mother until their older and can be moved into the play room if you look at some of the adult and kitten photos elsewhere on my web site,
Why we our a closed cattery
**We run a CLOSED CATTERY and do not allow casual visits. There are many reasons for this- #1 Safety of our cats and kittens. Our cats are NEVER caged, they run freely in the home, they are part of our family. #2 Concern of bringing in an illness… a lot of times there are very young unvaccinated kittens in the home and it is very easy to bring in viruses, parasites, etc in on your hands, shoes, and clothing. Health is our TOP priority at our chattery. #3 This is our home, we have a family and work full time jobs, if we allow every person that asks to come see kittens in our home we would have a constant stream of people in here. People also NEVER showed up on time for appointments and we found ourselves wasting entire days sitting around waiting. So for those reasons we do not allow it anymore
We constantly post videos and photos of not only our kittens but the cats hanging out in the home. If you purchased a kitten from us we do allow visits at 10-11 weeks old once they are fully vaccinated. Pick up of your new kitten is done with an appointment after spaying and neutering is done and the kitten had time to heal from their surgery at the age of 12-14 weeks of age
